Quick Trade for self-directed traders

By Rohan Fernandes, Founder · Updated 2026-09-05 · Educational reference, not investment advice

The one surface with no scoring and no second opinion, built for traders who already know what they want. Single-leg chain browsing, multi-leg package building with server-computed max profit and loss, the paired-only rule that refuses naked shorts, and the preview-and-confirm path.

Quick Trade is the one surface in this platform with no scoring, no grade, and no second opinion. That is not an oversight. It is for seasoned traders who already know what they want and need somewhere to place it. If you want analysis first, that lives in Research, which places through this same pipeline.

0:25–1:00

Pick a ticker, pick an expiry, and you get the live chain around the money with bid, ask, mid, delta, implied volatility and open interest on every row. Click buy and the ticket is composed on the server at the current mid. The browser never composes the legs itself, which is what stops a stale page from sending something you did not intend.

1:00–1:40

Multi-leg mode builds packages: verticals, iron condors, or a custom structure. Each leg gets its own strike selector with live pricing, and the package quotes a net debit or credit as you build it. Underneath, the maximum profit and maximum loss at expiry, computed on the server. When a structure is net long and the upside has no ceiling, it says unlimited rather than printing a misleading number.

1:40–2:05

There is one hard rule here. Within each option type, sells may not exceed buys. Naked short positions are refused by the server, not just hidden in the interface, and selling to open is deliberately not offered. If you want cash-secured puts or covered calls, those belong in the Wheel. There is also an analyze button for a second read, built only from the numbers already on screen. It is advisory. It never blocks anything and it never places anything.

2:05–2:25

Every order goes through a broker preview and an explicit confirmation before anything is sent. My Contracts lists what you are holding with a close on each row, and when the contract has sibling legs at the same expiry it offers to close the package as one net-limit order rather than legging you out.

Options Scanner is operated by Avenix Solutions LLC. It is not a broker-dealer and not an investment adviser, and it never holds customer funds. Thanks for watching.
