Once you have positions on, the question changes from what to trade into what to do about what you already hold. This tab answers that one, and it reads every brokerage you have connected, not just your main one.

0:20–1:00

Each open position gets one of five reads. Hold. Roll out, meaning the same strike further out in time. Roll up or down to a new strike. Close, to take a profit or cut a loss. Or hedge, by adding an offsetting leg. The inputs are the same for every card: where the position stands, days to expiration, delta exposure, and how implied volatility now compares to where it was when you opened.

1:00–1:25

Every card shows the arithmetic behind it, and names specific strikes rather than gesturing vaguely at a roll. The numbers on a card should be enough for you to disagree with it. If you cannot, it has not told you enough.

1:25–2:00

Nothing here places an order. These are advisory reads, and every action is yours to take. One deliberate exclusion: positions belonging to the auto trading agent are not shown, because the agent manages its own exits and a second opinion here would be fighting that loop. The tab tells you how many legs it is hiding for that reason. And when a connected brokerage could not be read on a pass, you get a banner saying so. A book that could not be read is never treated as an empty book.

That last point is worth holding on to across this whole platform. Missing data is reported as missing, never rendered as zero. Options Scanner is operated by Avenix Solutions LLC. It is not a broker-dealer and not an investment adviser, and it never holds customer funds. Options involve risk and are not suitable for every investor. Thanks for watching.

Educational reference. Options Scanner is a software tool. It is not a broker-dealer, an investment adviser, or a fiduciary, and nothing on this page is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Options involve risk and are not suitable for every investor; read the Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options before trading. Examples use hypothetical numbers for illustration only.
